Before Years End
The snow is falling outside and I realize the year will end in less than a month. Before we know it the new year will be upon us with all the resolutions, new goals, and stresses each new year brings to the table. Today I wrote an article for the local newspaper. In that article I suggested selecting 2 tasks to complete from the 10 listed below:
_ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _
- Declutter 13 items from your home.
- Be charitable with these decluttered items. (donation tracker form)
- Stop procrastinating by becoming better at prioritizing.
- Assemble an out fit that makes you feel marvelous when worn.
- Let go of a grudge.
- Smile often.
- Teach your children to do one thing they are old enough to take on themselves.
- Write a quick one-page family history for the year 2013. (one-page family history form)
- Change important passwords. (password keeper form)
- Review your credit history and correct any mistakes.
Choose two tasks from the list above to enrich your life and finish the year strong!

My wife likes to do a “declutter” every winter right around the new year. This year we cleared out quite a pile of things that were just taking up space! Now someone else can use those items. We gave away a printer, chest of drawers, and several articles of clothing! It feels good to free up the space!
Also, so glad you mentioned the need to update passwords. I can’t stress enough how important it is to update your online passwords regularly. Once a year is a MUST if not every 6 months, especially for your more sensitive information.

I will decide on a few things each year to get crossed off my to-do list. You motivated me. Thanks.
