Donation Resource List
What to do with the “stuff” you no longer want or need
There comes a time when we realize the things that were useful to us in the past are no longer necessary. To determine your current item needs, ask yourself a few questions:
- Is this something I use in my life today? NO…Donate it.
- Is this something I love? NO…Donate it.
- Where is this going to go? Don’t know…Find a GOOD spot in your home or donate it.
When in doubt … toss it! AND if you find yourself keeping too many things, you may need a professional to help you fully understand the 5 steps to living clutter-free.

Hazardous Waste: Be careful about where and how you dispose of hazardous waste which is defined as any product that is discarded from a home or similar source that contains volatile chemicals that are flammable, corrosive, explosive, toxic, or radioactive. They need to be used, stored and disposed of properly so no harm will be done to our environment or the environment of your grandchildren. Visit earth911 to learn more about disposal of hazardous waste and where to dispose of it in your area of the country. See the various types of waste in the top 1/3 of the page.
When uncluttering, help yourself and others by donating, selling, or tossing the items you no longer love. This is VERY freeing and allows you to better use those things you no longer value in your current life.
If you need decluttering help, contact us. We’ve helped hundreds of clients declutter and organize their home spaces.
