As a professional organizer I have worked many years helping my clients get organized in their homes and business offices. (Can I call it work when I enjoy it so much?) I teach them the benefits and methods for living an organized life.

I am excited today to help YOU get organized in your own life with the tips I offer here.  The organizing process is much easier with the plan below. Begin to get organized by asking yourself, “What is my vision for this space?” Your vision will help keep you on task.

Next schedule WHEN you are going to work on getting organized.

_ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _    Block out time on your calendar to work, then honor that time with yourself as you would any other commitment. Be sure you don’t overwhelm yourself. I suggest working in 2 hour increments. As you undertake this project to get organized, remember to plan 15 minutes each for set up and clean up time. That gives you on and one-half hour actual work time per organizing session.

Finally, roll up your sleeves and get ready to dig in. Be sure to use my Get Organized ACT+SPARK formula on your home spaces or business office spaces in exactly the order it is spelled out.
